Summary

This is a report on the second semester activities of the Faculty of Humanities Learning Commons Casa, established in2 018.In A p lir 2018, the basement area of the Seifukan buildingw as designated as the Learning Commons area, and activity was commenced with the aim of providmg
mutual learning support among students in the Faculty of Humanities. Subsequently reforms became necessary in both the activities contents and method.
A reform of the spatial and activities contents was undertaken in second semester. The first move was in the area of staff recruitment In first semester, the main focus had been on peer support, and there had been only limited time to begin activities, so these had been centered around fourth year students recommended by the teaching staff. However, Casa was recognized by only a section of the student cohort. This led to extending the recruitment to include second and third year students in second semester.
