The lecture outlined Myanmar economic and agricultural policies by period: the British colonial period, the U Nu regime (parliamentary democracy), the Ne Win regime (military government, Burmese socialism), the Than Shwe regime (military government, SLORC, SPDC), and political trends under the Thein Sein regime (civilian government).
