Constructivism and Education A comparative study of Vkhutemas and Japanese constructivism

Vkhutemas is a Soviet Union design school founded around the same time as the Bauhaus. Japanese constructivism is influenced by the Bauhaus, but not by Russian constructivism. However, in Japan, modern Russian craft education was introduced from the Meiji era. In this paper, we examined constructive thinking in basic education in Vkhutemas from the viewpoint of modeling education and craft education.
