We considered the development of original furniture by Futaba Furniture Industry, a Western furniture manufacturer in Kyoto. In the 1960s, the originality as a furniture maker in Kyoto was sought by the appointment of a well-known designer. In the 1980s, an attempt was made to develop original furniture by an internal designer who introduced new technology.
