Summary

"Tokyo Olympia" is a collection of Homma's works and a reinterpretation of "Tokyo Suburbia TOKYO SUBURBIA" (published by Korinsha in 1998), a book that is a sequel and reinterpretation of his most famous work, "Tokyo Suburbia" (published by Korinsha in 1998). The book, "Tokyo Olympia," is a collection of photographs taken over a period of six years of capturing the ever-changing cityscape, including the Tokyo Olympics and the relocation of the Tsukiji market to Toyosu.

This exhibition featured works by six designers who reconstructed Homma’s photographs. Participating designers were Shun Ishizuka, Toru Kase, Aiko Koike, Yutaro Yamada, Natsuko Yoneyama, and Asuka Wakita.
