Summary

In Part 4, Chapter 2, we examined how the formula familiarity, a subjective measure of English language learners, and "frequency of occurrence," an objective measure within the BNC corpus of native English speakers, affect the cognitive processing of the formulas, based on behavioral experimental data using psychological experimental software.
